life is like an hour glass
cemented to your ego
washed away by sands of time
as you go
down, down down
caught up in the emo
of the wasted…you’re wasting time
a castle built on sand
and a backstabbing melody
lead to great demise
sang out of key
lies, lies lies
but you’re too blind to see
cause you’re wasted…wasting time
and the shattered glass
is slipping through your fingers
wanna recreate the past
as the sand lingers
but in a moment it’s all over, no matter how you try
you can’t bring it back…you’re wasted, wasting time...
...you shattered the glass
and bleeding fingers
grasp for the sand
as time lingers
but it’s all over now, too blind to see why
